With grateful thanks to our sponsors Riverview Farm, we are able to again arrange a guided course walk for the 80 and 95 classes. Â Sam Lyle will lead the 95 class, and Shaun Dillon will lead the 80 class. Â Meet down at the start box at 5pm

For most of us, Sam needs no introduction – he is an International Event Rider and Member of the Australian Team
who won Bronze Medal and was 4th individually at the Rio Olympics 2016.  We are delighted to announce that Sam will be coming to Canberra at the end of November.  He will be coaching at Equestrian Park, on the 28th of November .
We anticipate that we will run SJ in the morning and XC in the afternoon. Â If there is sufficient interest, we will repeat this on Wednesday.
Entries will be open on Nominate shortly.
Click here for the timetable for the event. Remember that on Saturday night we have to turn the clocks forward so we get an hours less (but much needed) sleep!

So that all our hard work can be benefited by more, we are happy to accommodate anyone who wants to run the 3* as a CNC class rather than CIC. Â Share the news! click here to enter.
Also, Nominate have developed a fantastic app called Scoreboard. Â It is available on for apple and andriod smart phones – so please download it – you can get updates, copies of the tests, and links to our sponsors web sites. Â A must have for all eventers!
Today, with grateful thanks to our amazing sponsor, Alex Townsend from Wallaby Hill and Bucas Horse Rugs Australia, we spent the day preparing the going on course. Â The machine is going to be in action all weekend, and we hope that riders will appreciate the hard work that is bring put in, to bring them the event that they want! Â It is important to remember that clubs bring events to the riders, for the riders, and therefore, should support the clubs.

The FEI schedule has been approved, and can be downloaded by clicking on this link:Â Canberra September 2017.
Entries are open until Monday the 18th of September, with the late fee waived. Â While there is now a wait list in place for the EvA80 class, we expect to be able to fit everyone in with a little bit of juggling – so don’t be disheartened.
With 6 weeks to go until the event, it’s time to start recruiting our Very Important People – or volunteers!
The amazing Katy Doak has taken on the job of getting cross country jump judges organised – so please share this with anyone who is interested in sitting close to the action!
We have a sign up sheet to register your interest – please click here for the link.
As always – training will be provided, and food and our grateful thanks, for without volunteers, there would be no event.

Our favourite, and almost local coach, Sam Lyle is available for some XC coaching on Tuesday the 29th August.
If there are enough riders interested, I will book him. Please let Kate know via email
A reminder for everyone that the AGM for NCHTA is being held at the Yowani Club on Northbourne Avenue on the 9th August at 7.30pm.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for our upcoming CIC event on the 30th September/1st October. Â Please see the NCHTA Sponsorship Document for more information, and share with any of your contacts that you think could benefit from exposure!
