With the event within 2 months – entries are now being accepted.
Please follow this link to enter online.

We are not in a position to be able to run the 3* XC as a number of jumps need to be rebuilt to fit the new safety specifications – so we will be running this class again in 2019 – thank you for your understanding.

We really hope that riders will show their support for this class in the future, as without riders there is no event!

If you or anyone you know might be interested in sponsoring – please email us to discuss your needs.

Pairs information

Information regarding the competition.

The first competition will be a pairs cross country. The course will be quite short, with the fences having various height options so that all pairs can be catered for. There will be three “dressing fences” which the two horses must jump as a pair (ie side by side). Points will be given for these fences and penalties deducted for refusals and falls. There will also be an optimum time.  The height of the dressing jump is 60cm maximum.

Fancy dress is encouraged for the pairs, however please note that this competition is to be run under the relevant EA rules. In particular, it is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure that they wear the correct safety helmet and body protector.

We are looking forward to seeing you all here in Canberra soon.  We will be building the showjumping course on Saturday – feel free to come along and help set up!

Pony Club riders – remember to wear your PC uniform.

Plaiting is not necessary – so don’t worry about freezing your fingers off trying to do that.

For the Showjumping phase, competition attire is to be worn (White breeches/jodphurs and show jacket, with stock/tie)

Cross country your horse will need a bridle or saddle number, and you will need to wear a body protector and approved helmet.

Final Results

With a huge sigh of relief – click here for the final results.

We are fully aware of the huge issues that the new scoring program caused.  Our scorer was put in a situation of having a new program to wrestle with.  Along with the added requirements that the FEI have made with the final goal to have our results being able to be integrated with the Equiratings system, it meant that scoring our event was a nightmare for all involved.
The prizegiving was delayed due to all the problems that we encountered.  We know riders all want to get home after a big weekend, but some things really are out of our control.
We do however hope that you all had a good time in all other respects and will return again for our next competition – which is our Eventer Trial.  The date of this is yet to be confirmed.

Venue map

Here is a map of the venue.

All the southern cross horse accommodation is in the one area.  Follow the road in the camping area all the way to the end then go up the hill.

Follow my stylish blue line to a large open flat camping and build your own yards area.

The shower block is located where the red circle is.
