Equestrian NSW Coach of the year, Sam Lyle is coming to Canberra on 31 March (Easter Saturday).
For those interested in having a lesson with one of the most popular coaches, please contact Kate by email (click here for the address)
With a huge sigh of relief – click here for the final results.
We are fully aware of the huge issues that the new scoring program caused. Our scorer was put in a situation of having a new program to wrestle with. Along with the added requirements that the FEI have made with the final goal to have our results being able to be integrated with the Equiratings system, it meant that scoring our event was a nightmare for all involved.
The prizegiving was delayed due to all the problems that we encountered. We know riders all want to get home after a big weekend, but some things really are out of our control.
We do however hope that you all had a good time in all other respects and will return again for our next competition – which is our Eventer Trial. The date of this is yet to be confirmed.
There have been a few changes since the draw was posted at silly o’clock the other day. Riders in the 60A and 60J classes have had their times changed so that XC will run in numerical order – seems my formula got a little confused!
Those wanting to arrive on Friday – please be aware of the road works at the entrance to the park, so we request that you arrive after lunch if at all possible.
I have tried to accommodate the changes that people have requested.
A reminder that if you need to scratch from the competition, please let me know.

March CNC 18 notes and draw are available to down load, and a map of the venue and yard allocations will be available later on Wednesday.
Do not fear – the grounds are not nearly as dry as they are in this photo – I just wanted to use it again 😉
As we know – everyone wants to know what’s happening when to help them get organised for this weekend’s event! The draw will be available soon and will be emailed to competitors as well as being posted here on our website.

Yippee! It rained overnight and during the day, and over 40mls of rain has fallen at Equestrian park – such that the water jump is almost full!
Also – as promised the amazing Alex Townsend will be arriving next week with her marvellous jiggling machine – and the ever reliable John Fitgerald will be heading out on our old faithful tractor with the aerator to prepare the course. Â As usual – we are dedicated to bringing you all a well prepared track.

This year, we are lucky enough to have 3 of the Olympic team from Rio coming to Canberra! Shane and Stuart competing and Sam will be coaching. Chris won’t be coming as his name doesn’t start with an S.
Click here to enter – but NCHTA members get preferential entry until Saturday, and then it will be open to the general eventing community. Members have been emailed the entry password.
We are planning an evening function, with a meal and a chance to hear some insights from Sam.

We have set up an online survey that we would love for you all to take. Our aim is to gather your opinions and help us improve the event.
