The course is looking great. The show jumping warm up areas have been moved. The problems are with the parking so please be careful. The camping area is suitable for 4wd only. Currently the sun is shining and there’s a breeze.
At this stage it’s all systems go.
Dear riders,
The ground jury is meeting on course at 1.30pm. We will talk about our options at that point, but at the present time, it is all going ahead. Rest assured that we realise you need to travel and this uncertainty makes it all difficult. We will send an email, and update our Facebook page with further updates.
Thank you,
Kate
OTT Canberra International Horse Trials media UPDATE, we have WIN TV visiting the park at 11.30 Friday it would be super if a small crowd could gather to cheer and have a few banners and posters welcoming /congratulating Shane for the event. For more information contact Fiona Gruen by email fmgruen@tpg.com.au Fiona is hoping for a medal moment too with Shane on the Saturday, time to be advised..
We would like to reassure you all that at the present time, it’s all systems go. The committee and TDs have several plans in place to deal with the xc course given the rain we’re experiencing. We are NOT CANCELLING at this stage, and we don’t envisage that we will need to unless we get an incredible deluge. The dressage arenas hold up very well in the wet. The XC course is on a hill and drains well. The showjumping rings cope well too, the warm up can get churned up (as expected) so we will have another area to warm up in and only a limited number of riders will be allowed in at time.
If the situation changes I will email everyone.
Thanks,
Kate
The draw and riders notes are now available to view and download Please take the time to read the notes as it helps the weekend run smoothly.
Please contact me on canberraode@gmail.com (which is preferred) or phone 0403200341 (remembering that it is school holidays and I have three kids who are probably driving me around the bend by the weekend, so I’d rather you not to have to hear me yelling at them to be quiet while I try to hear what you have to say)

Everything is all systems go with wonderful work being done out on course by our dedicated team led by Ben Smith.
The draw is being finalised, but here is the timetable for the weekend.
There’s some rain forecast during the week, but the grounds are looking fantastic and we are confident that everything will run as planned.
There is room for a couple of EvA105 and EvA95 horses if anyone wants a spot.
Please contact Kate on canberraode@gmail.com if you have any questions. See you soon!
