Eventing in the Nation's Capital
With 6 weeks to go until the event, it’s time to start recruiting our Very Important People – or volunteers!
The amazing Katy Doak has taken on the job of getting cross country jump judges organised – so please share this with anyone who is interested in sitting close to the action!

As always – training will be provided, and food and our grateful thanks, for without volunteers, there would be no event.
Our favourite, and almost local coach, Sam Lyle is available for some XC coaching on Tuesday the 29th August.

A reminder for everyone that the AGM for NCHTA is being held at the Yowani Club on Northbourne Avenue on the 9th August at 7.30pm.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for our upcoming CIC event on the 30th September/1st October. Â Please see the NCHTA Sponsorship Document for more information, and share with any of your contacts that you think could benefit from exposure!
Plans are afoot for the upcoming CIC – and there are 12 trays of seedlings that need to be potted out. Â Who wants to join me out at the park one day (soon!). Â No previous experience necessary – even those who think they lack green thumbs are welcome – the more the merrier!
Also – the flags need to be taken down from the XC course from the Eventer Trial.

For those who have opened your Eventer magazine and felt “oh no, there’s hardly any events with EvA80” Â – fear not – NCHTA are coming to the rescue and are making sure we can include it in the schedule!
Sadly, Sam Griffiths has had to return to the UK, and will be unable to come to Canberra.
We hope that he will be able to come again later in the year. Â All entry fees will be refunded.

We are excited to announce that Sam Griffiths is interested in coming to the nations capital!  So we are holding a One Day Eventing Clinic with Sam Griffiths, on Saturday 15th July.
SJ in the morning, XC in the afternoon.
